India-based IT firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been chosen by assistance and travel insurance company Europ Assistance to transform its global IT operating model.
By leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, TCS will help the insurance firm to achieve improved resilience, scalability, and user experience.
Based in France, Europ Assistance is said to support nearly 300 million customers in more than 200 countries and territories with travel, home and family, mobility, health, and concierge services.
TCS is expected to help Europ Assistance in aligning its IT ecosystem with its mission of providing services anytime, anywhere, and supporting its growth.

Through the multi-year partnership, the Indian company will also step up its delivery centres in Europe and across geographies to deliver end-to-end enterprise IT application services to Europ Assistance.
TCS will also utilise ignio AIOps from its digitate suite of offerings to improve operational resilience and business agility.
The solution driven by AI and machine learning will provide Europ Assistance with actionable insights into its technology stack, thereby boosting productivity and availability.
Besides, Europ Assistance will be able to scale its business capabilities, support its expanding partnership ecosystem, and increase its speed to market.
Furthermore, TCS and Europ Assistance will collaborate on new use cases utilising generative AI and other advanced technologies.
