Canada-based enterprise banking software platform Zafin has expanded its global strategic collaboration with US tech giant Microsoft, to advance its technological capabilities.
The expanded partnership allows Zafin to use Microsoft Azure, strengthening its position as a key player in core banking modernisation.
Also, the banking software company can use Azure’s economies of scale and Azure AI capabilities to provide enhanced benefits for banks worldwide.
Zafin CEO Charbel Safadi said: “Zafin has collaborated with Microsoft to transform the banking landscape, enabling banks to simplify and accelerate modernisation by innovating on products and propositions.
“We are expanding our successful relationship to help banks harness the power of our cloud-native SaaS to deliver personalised, real-time financial solutions to their customers.”
Zafin said that major international banks depend on its advanced SaaS platform and Microsoft Azure AI tools for core modernisation initiatives to stay ahead of the competition.
Its platform enables banks to move beyond traditional product models, anticipate customer needs, and adapt to regulatory changes, ensuring they remain future-ready.
This year, Zafin received the Microsoft ISV Innovation-Americas Partner of the Year Award.
It is the first financial services industry ISV partner in the Americas to receive the Microsoft Financial Services Industry AI Certification, said the banking software company.
Microsoft worldwide financial services corporate vice president Bill Borden said: “Microsoft values our ongoing collaboration with Zafin as we help the financial services industry unlock and accelerate new opportunities in the era of AI.
“By continuing to advance our combined technological and industry capabilities, we look forward to empowering banks with scalable solutions to quickly adapt to market shifts and customer needs.”
