The International Accounting Bulletin’s World Survey Supplement 2025 is now available, featuring key insights into the performance of leading accountancy networks and associations.
Annually, our World Survey edition benchmarks the performance and growth of accounting organisations globally, with overall network and association rankings, as well as breakdowns by region, practice line, and staffing numbers.
And of course, underscoring this, IAB’s rankings are crucial for organisations’ lead-generation, competitor analysis and bragging rights of their market standing.
- Networks: Growth slowed slightly to 7% (down from 8% last year), with total fee income reaching $297.2bn. The Top 10 Networks by fee income, 2024 are highlighted in this edition, along with insights on double-digit growth among half of the top 10 firms.
- Associations: Outpacing networks for the first time since 2019, associations achieved 13% growth, bringing total fee income to $37.2bn. Staff growth was strong at 9%, and the Top 5 Associations by fee income, 2024 are also featured in the supplement.
- Service Line Growth: All four service lines saw double-digit growth, led by audit and assurance (14%), followed by accounting services (13%), and advisory and tax services (10% each). The supplement also includes expert insights from HLB International, Praxity Alliance, and KNAV on innovation, global collaboration, and compliance strategies.
