Under the new partnership, VMware Cross-Cloud services will be combined with Wipro FullStride Cloud Services to help global enterprises accelerate app modernisation
VMware, a US-based cloud computing and virtualisation technology firm, has expanded its decade-long collaboration with Indian IT firm Wipro to drive the digital transformation of customers.
As part of the expanded partnership, VMware Cross-Cloud services will be combined with Wipro FullStride Cloud Services to help global enterprises speed up app modernisation.
The integration is also expected to enable businesses to decrease the cost, complexity, and risk of shifting to the cloud.
VMware Cross-Cloud is said to be an integrated portfolio of SaaS solutions to develop, run, manage and secure all apps across any cloud.
Wipro FullStride Cloud Services, which was launched in July 2021, brings together Wipro’s cloud-related capabilities, offerings, and talent to better arrange the cloud journey for clients.
VMware will collaborate with Wipro to help remove the complexity and risk involved in the multi-cloud initiatives of customers.
The Indian IT firm will offer a complete portfolio of digital transformation services which includes VMware Cross-Cloud services in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

Through the combination of Wipro FullStride Cloud Services and VMware Cross-Cloud services, customers can address priorities like scaling cloud-native platform operations as well as expedite enterprise cloud transformation.
The cloud-native acceleration platform (CNAP) of Wipro FullStride Cloud Services is said to be a fully orchestrated cloud-agnostic platform built on the VMware Tanzu portfolio.
It uses code-ready workspaces as well as templated modernisation recipes to develop modern apps and gives developers autonomy and speed for quicker releases of applications.
Wipro FullStride Cloud Services Global Cloud Studios in combination with VMware Cloud is claimed to provide a safe, fast, cost-effective path for customers to the cloud. It is claimed to provide the flexibility to match any app to the appropriate cloud environment.
