Vistra has unveiled Geni, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven compliance adviser designed to support businesses in managing regulatory requirements globally.
The AI tool is integrated within Vistra’s newly launched Global Expansion Platform (GEP), a digital solution aimed at streamlining corporate compliance and international business operations.
The introduction of Geni comes as businesses navigate increasingly complex regulatory landscapes. Developed by Vistra’s in-house technology specialists, the AI-powered adviser leverages the company’s expertise to assist organisations in addressing key challenges related to compliance and expansion.
Vistra CEO Simon Webster said: “Geni and the Global Expansion Platform are the future of confident, compliant, cross-border trade and mark a major step in Vistra fulfilling its vision of making operating anywhere in the world feel borderless and frictionless.
“The complexity of global expansion and operations is not going away and so it is increasingly important to provide clients with both the service and software components that solve these issues, creating a client experience that is both unique, seamless and interconnected.”
GEP offers businesses a centralised platform to establish entities, open business accounts in key markets, and oversee corporate operations across more than 300 jurisdictions.
Geni functions as a 24/7 digital assistant, capable of executing compliance-related tasks efficiently, enabling organisations to focus on strategic priorities.
According to Vistra, the AI system provides a consolidated view of global entities and compliance deadlines. It also facilitates self-service corporate actions by automating processes, and connects users to the company’s network of over 9,000 professionals worldwide.
Beyond entity management, Vistra plans to expand GEP and Geni’s capabilities to include payroll and tax accounting services by the end of next year. The platform will eventually encompass the full suite of Vistra Global Solutions.
Vistra global solutions president Jonathon Clifton said: “For the first time in our industry, we are now providing clients with that same convenience, choice and transparency in how they can access and experience Vistra Global Solutions’ services.
“Companies can go online to set up an entity and open a business account in key jurisdictions, achieving in minutes what used to take days. This puts powerful new capabilities in the hands of our clients while ensuring they still benefit from the real-world support of Vistra’s global experts.”
