UK-based asset management firm Valu-Trac Investment Management has selected Temenos Multifonds software-as-a-service (SaaS) to drive its fund administration and transfer agency business in the UK.

Valu-Trac will transition from in-house, on-premise systems to the end-to-end solutions Temenos Multifonds Global Accounting (MFGA) and Multifonds Global Investor (MFGI).

This shift aims to optimise workflows and consolidate operations on a single, automated platform.

The asset management firm will also gain the ability to provide enhanced capability and servicing for its managers and collective fund shareholders.

Headquartered in Scotland, Valu-Trac provides investment management and support, authorised corporate director (ACD) services, and fund operations to approximately 45 sponsors and investment managers.

The firm manages more than 150 funds, primarily focused on UK open-ended investment companies (OEICs) and non-UCITS retail schemes (NURS) funds, with assets under management exceeding £16bn.

Valu-Trac fund operations director Jonathan Child said: “This is a strategic project for Valu-Trac, and after a thorough evaluation, we chose Temenos Multifonds as the best solution to meet both our current and future needs.

“Its comprehensive functionality and proven success in large-scale fund migrations made it the clear choice. With Multifonds, we can accelerate our digital transformation, better serve existing clients, and attract new ones.”

Through the deployment of Temenos Multifonds, Valu-Trac will introduce automated workflows with exception-based management. This will be supported by net asset value (NAV) workflow dashboards for real-time issue identification and resolution.

This system will allow Valu-Trac to adapt swiftly to regulatory changes and client demands with customisable reporting tools.

Besides, the adoption of Temenos’ cloud-based SaaS solution is expected to provide Valu-Trac with a secure and scalable infrastructure that reduces operational risks while enhancing both customer and shareholder experiences.

The platform’s application programming interface (API)-first integration capability also ensures seamless connectivity for Valu-Trac with internal and external systems, said Temenos.

Temenos Multifonds managing director Oded Weiss said: “As a SaaS client, Valu-Trac is well positioned for future growth, by leveraging Multifonds across its comprehensive suite of middle, back office, and transfer agency services.

“Valu-Trac’s expertise and intimate, end-to-end knowledge of the UK market, combined with Multifonds industrial level of automation, controls and data quality, will give Valu-Trak and its clients the robust foundation needed to grow and evolve successfully.”
