US-based software companies ServiceNow and Boomi have entered a strategic collaboration to enhance customer experiences through AI-powered self-service solutions.

Boomi, as a key customer of ServiceNow, will use the ServiceNow App Engine to deliver streamlined customer support and improved self-service.

ServiceNow will combine Boomi’s application programming interface (API) Management capabilities with its Automation Engine for better visibility and governance of API landscapes.

The new AI-powered self-service solutions are expected to be available later this year.

ServiceNow global industries and strategic growth president Paul Fipps said: “As customer expectations evolve, businesses require simple, agile, and easy-to-use solutions to meet those needs.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Boomi to help them revolutionise their customer experience with the Now Platform and to collaborate on innovations that will advance business automation.

“By combining Boomi’s industry-leading API Management with ServiceNow’s suite of intelligent automation solutions, we’re also bringing an even more robust toolset to creators and app developers.”

Bhoomi said that currently, enterprises are facing challenges with manual processes and isolated systems that create data silos and impact innovation and customer experiences.

By using the Now Platform and ServiceNow’s AI-powered TPSM offering, Boomi is anticipated to eliminate silos, simplify internal processes, and help reduce manual work.

Boomi will also use ServiceNow’s App Engine to build workflows into its Master Data Hub, its cloud-native data management platform, to enable a simplified, more intuitive user experience.

ServiceNow will incorporate Boomi’s advanced API Management (APIM) solution to strengthen its suite of intelligent automation solutions.

Boomi’s APIM platform provides a centralised view across a user’s API landscape, empowering creators with complete visibility and security.
