Network International, an enabler of digital commerce across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, and Commercial Bank of Kuwait (Al-Tijari) are joining forces to bolster the latter’s ongoing digital transformation.
The collaboration will also enhance the Kuwaiti bank’s payment innovation initiatives.
Through the strategic alliance, Al-Tijari will utilise Network International’s advanced technology and expertise in end-to-end issuer processing capabilities to provide its customers with progressive and new digital experiences.
The capabilities include fraud detection and prevention, cardholder self-serve application, tokenisation, advanced authentication, instant issuance, and other services.
Al-Tijari retail banking division general manager Abdulaziz Al Zaabi said: “With this partnership, Commercial Bank of Kuwait aims to leverage Network’s vast knowledge and global experience in creating cutting-edge Card Payment solutions.
“Together, with our banking expertise, we aim to provide our customers with agile, secure, innovative services that are seamlessly executed and exceed their expectations.”
Based in Dubai, UAE, Network International offers a portfolio of payment products and services that are claimed to be technologically advanced.
The company is said to have processed more than $42bn in total processed volumes (TPV) for more than 150,000 merchants in 2021.
Network International has also processed over 979 million issuer transactions on more than 16 million cards for over 200 financial institutions.
In 2019, the firm joined the London Stock Exchange (LSE) through a premium listing on the main market.
