AMPLY Power has partnered with Lightning eMotors to deploy its “Powered by AMPLY” offering to enable the latter to integrate the Omega charge management software with its electric vehicles (EVs).
The US-based company said that the integration of its OMEGA charge management software makes the electrification process for fleets easier.
Lightning eMotors, which is a fleet solutions provider, will use Powered by AMPLY to combine the strength of Lightning Insights, its vehicle telematics, with the OMEGA software for new EV purchases.
OMEGA can be the single platform that operators require for managing their EVs effectively, said AMPLY Power. The electric vehicle charging infrastructure and energy management provider said that its software optimises charging of EVs for low-cost energy, vehicle availability, and other factors.
Besides, the charge management software dynamically responds in real-time, thereby removing the need for active management.

AMPLY Power said that the Omega charge management software is vehicle and charger agnostic.
The company alongside Lightning eMotors aims to remove the guesswork from installing and optimising EV charging by providing charge management software combined with vehicle telematics at the start of the EV journey. This will eventually save the fleet time as well as money, said AMPLY Power, which is owned by energy major BP.
