Infosys Finacle has launched a set of tools, dubbed Finacle Data and AI Suite, designed to help banks implement artificial intelligence (AI) across their digital operations and speed up their AI transformation.
The suite equips banks with low-code, predictive, and generative AI solutions, built to high standards for transparency and explainability to support seamless AI integration.
Infosys Finacle is part of EdgeVerve Systems, a subsidiary of Indian IT major Infosys.
The Finacle Data and AI Suite comes under Infosys Topaz, an AI-first portfolio of generative AI technologies developed to ensure a strong foundation for ethics, trust, privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Infosys Finacle chief business officer and global head Sajit Vijayakumar said: “By leveraging data at scale, AI empowers banks to anticipate needs, personalise solutions, and drive growth with unprecedented agility. We are excited to introduce the Finacle Data and AI Suite as a definitive solution for banks seeking to harness the power of AI.
“The Finacle Data Platform lays out a robust data foundation, and the Finacle AI Platform abstracts the complexities of AI development, putting power in the hands of banks’ business teams to unlock the true potential of AI.”
The suite includes three main components, namely the Finacle data platform, Finacle AI platform and Finacle generative AI offerings. The data platform features an automated data pipeline that cleans, transforms, and delivers data for AI and other organisational requirements.
This component also includes a modular data lakehouse that uses models inspired by the banking industry architecture network (BIAN), along with industry-specific data marts to facilitate rapid and interoperable data access.
Serving as an interface for banks to build, train, deploy, and optimise AI solutions, the AI platform offers various pre-trained models and machine learning techniques.
The AI platform’s no-code, generative AI-driven approach allows both technical and business users to create explainable AI solutions rapidly.
To ensure responsible AI usage, the platform includes capabilities for detecting biases and drifts and also offers a patent-pending synthetic data generation feature to safeguard data privacy during training.
The third component includes a diverse range of AI assistants designed for both enterprise and customer-focused applications.
Key offerings include the Finacle knowledge AI assistant, which uses natural language processing (NLP) for information extraction from document repositories, and the Finacle support AI assistant, which supports teams in ticket resolution.
