Canada-based communications solutions provider Global Relay has integrated its financial compliance platform with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise Compliance application programming interfaces (API).

The integration enables Global Relay customers to use OpenAI’s Enterprise Compliance API to meet industry standards for business communications, data archiving, and surveillance.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT Enterprise Compliance APIs will allow ChatGPT Enterprise workspace administrators to help ensure privacy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Global Relay said that the integration allows its global client base of 20,000 financial institutions to use the Global Relay Connector for the ChatGPT Enterprise solution.

Also, it helps capture and archive prompts, conversations, and file attachments between individual users and ChatGPT Enterprise, and securely store data in Global Relay Archive.

Global Relay said the integration with ChatGPT Enterprise Compliance API will enable its clients to capture and archive compliance and risk data, and access ChatGPT Enterprise data.

It allows the company to continue its existing monitoring of instant messaging tools, social media, voice, files, and business collaboration tools, all within a single platform.

In March this year, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) updated its guidelines to include requirements for overseeing AI chatbot communications.

The update mandates that AI-driven communications must be in line with the same supervision, content, and recordkeeping standards as other business communications.

Global Relay said that its ChatGPT Enterprise integration not only helps organisations comply with FINRA’s new regulations, but also provides complete, accurate, and quality source data.
