Danske Bank is set to become the first financial institution in the Nordic region to integrate BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform into its personal customer investment services.
The adoption aims to enhance investment and risk management capabilities for Danske Bank’s clients across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.
Aladdin Wealth offers a unified platform for portfolio management, data analysis, and risk assessment, enabling a more comprehensive approach to wealth advisory services.
By leveraging its advanced tools, Danske Bank seeks to provide a more personalised and proactive customer experience while improving efficiency and scalability in portfolio management.
The integration aligns with Danske Bank’s Forward ’28 strategy, which focuses on digital transformation and innovation to strengthen its position in the Nordic banking sector.
The strategy prioritises enhancing customer experiences through investments in digital platforms and expert financial advisory services.
Danske Bank private banking and investments head Anne Buchardt said: “This platform provides us with scalable tools allowing us to support our customers with even better and more timely advice based on a thorough analysis of their current investment portfolio.
“Furthermore, our customers will benefit from a comprehensive view of their holdings and a more personalised service, no matter whether they prefer personal advice from one of our specialists or utilise our strong do-it-yourself solutions.”
BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform is designed to support private banks and wealth managers by streamlining investment workflows, offering advanced data analytics, and integrating risk management tools.
It facilitates seamless portfolio construction, client communication, and regulatory compliance while providing data-driven insights to help advisers identify investment opportunities.
The partnership is expected to improve risk oversight, ensuring investment portfolios remain aligned with clients’ financial goals and risk profiles.
BlackRock Nordic region head Elisabeth Sterner said: “BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform gives advisers access to timely data and insights to better support their customer’s individual long term financial goals.
“As wealth management evolves to be more personalised and advisory-driven, more wealth managers are seeking the breadth of BlackRock’s platform to deliver integrated investment and technology solutions across the whole portfolio, and we are thrilled to cooperate with Danske Bank on the next chapter of their journey.”
