Bluedot, a single payment platform for electric vehicle (EV) fleet drivers, has teamed up with RideShare Carz to optimise EV charging for the latter’s drivers.
RideShare Carz is rideshare vehicle rental company with EV rentals.
Through the collaboration, Bluedot will offer its fleet platform for all RideShare Carz’s EV customers.
The partnership will also enable RideShare Carz renters to locate, charge, and pay for charging across more than 80% of the public chargers in the US.
Bluedot said that the collaboration will help RideShare Carz to no longer download multiple apps and to make payments through Bluedot automatically.

Besides, the engagement enables Bluedot to track all charging sessions and automatically bill RideShare Carz drivers on a daily basis.
The new payment solution will also allow them to optimise their vehicle charging billing process, increase internal efficiencies, and improve customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, Bluedot gives RideShare Carz full driver controls, helping them to manage customers’ charging expenses and billing, and revoke access to the vehicle if required.
The all-one-one platform supports RideShare Carz to scale its EV rental business and minimise the amount of platform it uses.
