Israeli insurtech company EasySend has formed a Japanese entity called EasySend Godo Kaisha in Tokyo, which will be engaged in expediting digitisation within the Japanese financial industry.

With the new entity, the company expects to grow its customer base and partner companies further in Japan.

It plans to help insurance companies as well as banks by utilising its knowledge and experience in the global market, while addressing Japanese laws and market requirements like privacy data and security.

EasySend said that it meets the digitisation needs of insurance firms and financial institutions by offering a no-code development platform that does not involve programming expertise.

The company stated that it supports digitisation by optimising the intake of customer data and automation of workflows that in the past needed paper forms into web forms and workflows in a short span of time and at a low cost.

EasySend CEO Tal Daskal said: “The establishment of EasySend’s presence in the important Japanese market will allow us to build relationships with many companies, including Japanese insurance companies and financial institutions.

“EasySend is a digitalisation expert in the insurance and financial industries. EasySend shortens sales cycles, reduces manual work, and increases brand loyalty.”

The company claimed that its platform helps non-system developers in developing systems quickly and easily with drag-and-drop operations and simple configuration. This is said to cut down what could be a five-year digital transformation plan to just three months, said EasySend.

The platform also utilises a cloud-based, no-code builder that leverages third-party integrations as well as analytics for addressing growingly diverse and complex customer requirements.

In Japan, the company’s platform has been implemented by Sompo Japan Insurance. The company said that Toppan Forms has also inked a distributor agreement for the platform.

Sompo Japan Insurance data business group, DX promotion department Akiyuki Matsuda said: “By using EasySend, we are smoothly digitising our traditional paper-based operations without major changes to our workflow. The file upload function, check boxes, electronic signatures, and other useful tools have made implementation easy.

“We also feel that intuitive operations such as copy and paste and drag and drop allow us to develop sophisticatedly designed web flows without advanced digital skills.”
