India-based technology services and consulting company Wipro has signed a new agreement with general insurance company RSA to expedite the latter’s cloud migration.
Under the terms of the three-year contract, Wipro will build a compliant, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure for RSA.
The engagement between the parties builds on their existing partnership that commenced in 2016.
RSA IT foundation director Matt Lockie said: “Wipro and RSA’s continued relationship helps us to drive greater value across our infrastructure services and ensure the highest standards of service.
“There is a big focus on modernisation in the next couple of years and both organisations remain committed to pushing boundaries and achieving even greater success in the future.”
According to the Indian company, the new contract will support RSA on its journey over the next couple of years to transform its infrastructure and the use of cloud technology.
Wipro will also help RSA in the delivery of a variety of operational services to enable a connected business environment and support the insurance company’s objectives for growth.
The new infrastructure will streamline service delivery and improve RSA’s customer and employee experience by using automation, said Wipro.
Wipro UK & Ireland managing director Omkar Nisal said: “We are proud to extend our engagement with RSA. Under our enhanced scope, we will accompany them on their modernization journey by addressing their technology and regulatory needs.
“Through cloud technology and industry-leading cybersecurity frameworks, we will further strengthen and scale RSA’s business. Our teams are excited to continue our work, always innovating and driving modernisation to realize RSA’s ambitions.”
Based in the UK, RSA is said to serve more than nine million customers around the world.
The firm offers a broad array of small business products and multinational solutions for large corporate clients as well as personal insurance products that cover homes and pets.
