BigTime Software, a US-based private equity-funded time tracking, project management, invoicing, and payment solutions provider, has acquired Polish resource management and financial planning software provider Primetric.
The financial terms of the transaction were not revealed.
Through the acquisition of Primetric, BigTime Software aims to take a major step forward in its goal to address the expanding list of mission-critical requirements for businesses within the professional services industry.
The integration of Primetric’s extensive resource planning and management offerings with the American company’s existing platform is expected to help professional services businesses gain access to a single source of truth for project data.
BigTime Software founder and CEO Brian Saunders said: “Our customers are increasingly looking for stronger and better-detailed resource planning as they take on new work and expand their teams, particularly in a business environment that remains unpredictable.
”The robust operating data our platform provides is a natural foundation for a solution like Primetric. Their scalable architecture and focus on delivering an easy-to-use, rapid time-to-value solution is an ideal match for what our customers need.”
According to BigTime Software, the integrated solution will support the companies from project planning and resource allocation to project oversight, invoicing, and payments to help them attain a greater level of operational efficiency, transparency, and profitable growth.
The combined solution will optimise the time and skills of resources, minimise project and financial risk, enhance profitability as well as create a culture of transparency.
Furthermore, the transaction is expected to meet the challenges of siloed data and manual ineffective processes to power long-term sustainable growth and profitability for clients.
The founders of Primetric will continue with the company in strategic roles, said BigTime Software.
