Alliant Credit Union, a US-based branchless, digital-only credit union, has partnered with Backbase to enhance its digital banking services and improve the member experience.
The partnership with Backbase aligns with Alliant Credit Union’s strategy to further enhance digital engagement, offering personalised financial services and improved operational efficiency.
Alliant Credit Union has $20bn in assets and is said to serve more than 900,000 members.

Backbase’s Engagement Banking Platform will provide Alliant Credit Union with advanced capabilities to tailor financial journeys and drive member engagement.
Besides, the collaboration is said to mark another step in Backbase’s expansion in North America, reinforcing its role in supporting financial institutions through digital transformation.
By integrating Backbase’s technology, Alliant Credit Union aims to strengthen its position as a leading digital-only credit union. It will also delivering an enhanced and seamless banking experience for its members.

Last November, Backbase announced that Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) made an investment in the Engagement Banking Platform, supported locally by its partner, SmartOSC, a digital transformation agency.
