US-based investment advisor Future Capital has partnered with AssuredPartners Investment Advisors (APIA) to enhance retirement plan services for financial professionals.
APIA is an affiliate of AssuredPartners, a US-based independent insurance brokerage firm specialising in commercial insurance, risk management, and employee benefits.
The collaboration allows financial professionals serving APIA to access Future Capital’s Construct platform to effectively manage their clients’ held-away 401(k) assets.
Also, it provides holistic financial advice and identifies rollover opportunities.
Launched in June this year, Construct offers advisors trade discretion, complete customisation of their client’s portfolios, and allows them to determine their fee structure.
With Construct, advisors can leverage new revenue streams and capture more household wealth by expanding their service offerings.
Future Capital founder and CEO Jay Jumper said: “Advisors require access to their clients’ held-away retirement assets to truly offer holistic financial planning.
“For many clients, these assets represent a sizable portion of their wealth and the inability to optimise them to help clients achieve their goals is doing them a disservice.
“Our partnership with AssuredPartners Investment Advisors extends sophisticated retirement plan management tools to help financial professionals serve their clients comprehensively.”
Construct helps advisors working with APIA to manage client assets and discover other opportunities, including orphaned retirement accounts, and spousal accounts.
It helps advisors identify rollover opportunities by providing access to important data on participation and termination events, enabling fast and informed guidance to clients.
Construct enables advisors to confidently navigate compliance by securely managing held-away 401(k) assets, ensuring they act in the client’s best financial interest.
In addition, the platform helps advisors easily integrate workplace retirement assets from the client’s entire household into a comprehensive financial plan.
The current partnership follows Future Capital’s technology integration with SS&C’s Black Diamond Wealth Platform
The integration enabled more than 2,700 wealth management providers to directly manage their client’s held-away 401(k) assets.
AssuredPartners Investment Advisors president Justin Callaham said: “As advisors who deeply appreciate their fiduciary duty, our advisors have been longing for a seamless way to manage their clients’ whole financial lives.
“Future Capital’s platform aligns with our mission to deliver solutions helping people prepare for a secure tomorrow.”
