Zafin, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) core modernisation and transformation solutions provider for banks, has unveiled a new low-code platform, IO Canvas, to transform data integration for financial institutions.
The new offering is aimed at modernising the way financial institutions develop and handle data pipelines. It also seeks to address the complex challenges banks face when integrating core banking systems with modern technology infrastructure.
IO Canvas is designed with an intuitive and user-friendly interface. This design helps banks to visualise and build data pipelines efficiently, eliminating the need for extensive custom coding.
As a result, senior technical teams are freed from manual data transformations, enabling them to focus on more strategic, high-value business tasks, said Zafin.
Developed on Zafin IO, a platform built to streamline integration processes for banks, IO Canvas provides a low-cost and scalable environment that can address the evolving needs of financial institutions.
By reducing development and deployment times, the platform is expected to enable banks to innovate more quickly while ensuring high standards of data integrity and security.

IO Canvas facilitates seamless integration with core banking systems such as 10x, Thought Machine, and Zafin’s own capabilities like Tiering and Dynamic Cohorts. This integration is further supported by more than 200 connectors, including those from Redpanda Connect.
The platform also allows banks to deliver hyper-customised user experiences, optimise pricing strategies, and enhance customer engagement, all within the Zafin ecosystem.
IO Canvas also addresses the growing demand for faster release cycles and quicker feature delivery. It enables banks to democratise the process of building, running, and monitoring data pipelines.
The platform allows users with varying levels of technical expertise to develop production-ready pipelines.
