Financial operations automation platform Ascend has joined forces with wholesale brokerage Anzen to optimise retail financial operations in executive risk insurance.
Headquartered in California, Anzen is a technology-enabled wholesale solution for executive risk insurance. The firm offers a range of management, cyber, and professional liability markets for executive risk insurance.
Anzen CEO Max Bruner said: “This collaboration helps us future-proof our retail clients with streamlined financial operations while leveraging our expertise and technology in Executive and Specialty Risk placement.
“Together, we are providing the tools to close more business, close it faster, and offer comprehensive risk solutions to retail brokers and their clients.”
The collaboration is set to provide Anzen’s retail brokerage customers across the US with advanced tools to streamline financial processes when dealing with speciality insurance products.
Through this partnership, Anzen will be able to handle payments and disbursements more efficiently using Ascend’s fully automated platform. The latter’s system streamlines invoicing, payables, and reconciliation to reduce manual errors and improve financial accuracy and overall operational efficiency.
In addition, Anzen’s brokers, supported by an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven broking platform, will be able to quickly quote and compare coverage options. This will provide a comprehensive service for executive risk and speciality insurance products.
Ascend co-CEO Andrew Wynn said: “Anzen is a leading wholesaler embracing technology to push innovation within the insurance industry.
“Together, we are able to combine the best of what technology can offer—payment automation and intelligent risk placement—to help retail brokers optimise their operations and deliver enhanced client service.”
Earlier this year, Ascend collaborated with BindHQ, an agency operating system for managing general agents (MGAs), wholesalers and managing general underwriters (MGUs), to transform broker management and financial operations.
