Infosys has joined forces with life insurance company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to advance the latter’s digital transformation initiative Digital Innovation and Value Enhancement (DIVE).
Through the partnership, the Indian digital services and consulting company will develop an advanced next-gen digital platform.
The platform is aimed at enhancing easy omnichannel engagement and delivering data-driven, hyper-personalised experiences for LIC’s customers, agents, and employees.
Besides, the next-gen digital platform is expected to support LIC in achieving the goals of DIVE by implementing top-tier digital initiatives for its various stakeholders, including customers, intermediaries, and the marketing team.
It will also function as an open platform, facilitating easy integration with fintech firms and bancassurance partners.
LIC CEO and managing director Siddhartha Mohanty said: “Our collaboration with Infosys marks a significant milestone in our digital transformation journey.
“It will not only enhance our operational capabilities, but also enable us to cater to our vast customer, agent and employee base with newer, more personalised experiences. We are committed to leveraging the latest technologies that Infosys has to offer, including Cloud and Enterprise AI, to drive innovation and improve our offerings.”
According to Infosys, the company was chosen by LIC for its proven track record in managing large-scale digital transformation projects and its extensive expertise in the banking, financial, and insurance sectors.
Infosys will offer comprehensive system integration services, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities from Infosys Topaz and DevSecOps services through Infosys Cobalt.
Infosys Cobalt offers a range of services, solutions, and platforms to accelerate cloud adoption, while Infosys Topaz enhances this with advanced generative AI features.
Furthermore, Infosys will assist LIC in establishing the infrastructure required for the digital transformation and will provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance once the platform is operational.
Infosys CEO and managing director Salil Parekh said: “By leveraging Infosys’ extensive experience in digital transformation initiatives and prowess in AI and Cloud, we aim to equip LIC with a robust digital infrastructure that will deliver superior customer engagement, enhance operational efficiency and enable rapid market responsiveness.
“Through this collaboration, we are confident that LIC will be uniquely positioned to offer unparalleled service and value to their stakeholders.”
